Roasting marshmallows on a fire! That's what me & my friends did last night and then sat under the stars chatting for hours :) xx
Taking naps in the middle of the day! Totally indulgent and awesome!
good books, coffee, sunshine, flowers, pretty clothes, happy smells, baking, making things.
I love this post! It's so cliche, but this past year I've experienced somethings that have made me realize how short life really is and how important the people we love really are to us... So the one thing in life that makes me truly happy is spending as much time doing whatever with my family and friends. xxooArdiana
I couldn't agree with more!!
my husband, my dog, designing jewelry, oh! and your blog too!!http://sometimesimakeart.blogspot.com/
Just a few weeks ago I spent my first overnight in the hospital (at the age of 24) because I have a blood clot in my lung... it was scary and kind of made me put a lot of stuff into perspective. I have realized that the silly little things are what really make me happy, ice cream being on sale, making a new recipe and having my fantastic cook boyfriend like it, waking up because the dog is snoring so loud in my bed. I guess I'm trying to look at the good little things more now :-)P.S. I made my boyfriend bring my computer to the hospital during my second day there so I could read your blog... I read it from start to finish... kept me pretty good company!
Homemade vanilla pudding! Especially when made by your husband after you had a very rough day. What a sweetie. I guess HE makes me happy :)Jenmotu viget
The Ocean air and freshly baked cookies.
baking and eating make me happy! and ballet dacng ;)and always the best is meeting friends and have a great time!
A lot of things! #1 right now is checking something off of my to-do list :) It's been a busy month.
Seeing people eat treats I made, vanilla beans, fresh fruit, and laying down in my bed at night.
Giving myself permission to be myself and LOVE it!!!
Having people that are awesome (online & off) in my life that inspire me to be a better person, when I inspire others, peppermint mochas, an etsy sale, a new follower, that my room mate gave our puppy dog a mohawk, seeing my boyfriend on Skype each night, sun shine, good food, good friends, etc. etc.Hope you're enjoying your time on vacation! Hope Toby is having a blast too!!!!!
Spending time with my family, taking photos, writing, day dreaming and singing A lot of things make me happy. I try not to do anything that doesn't.What makes you happy?
Crafting and spending time with my friends. This usually involves food and/or libations.
Waking up surrounded by my four cats, spending sunny days with the boy, taking pictures and seeing flowers.
Sunshine. And putting dreams into reality. The sunshine usually puts me in the mood to do the second one! xxx
Life! I'm one of those nauseatingly happy & content sorts~*http://aclosetintellectual.blogspot.com/
Sunny days, good books, when my baby niece just walks up and puts her arm around me, my fur babies, good tunes :)
Simple moments in the sunshine with my family. Writing. Reading in my garden. Success. Progress.
My animalfriends, nature, finding something I love but I didn't expect (like, a beautiful bug on a flower or something at a thriftstore), drawing something I don't hate, colors, a random day with my best friend, finishing a project, productivity, being on a boat, lying in bed while reading a good book and a cat purring beside me, compliments, feminism, pretty fabrics, good food, my mom.
baby kisses and the sun shining :)
Coffee and puppies!
Sunshine, coffee,a good book,a funny movie, taking a bubble bath, writing, taking pictures, walking in the woods, being surrounded by positive people instead of negative nancy's (although that's not always possible sometimes...) :)
Drinking coffee in the morning. Sleeping in. Working out instead of sleeping in because I know I'll feel better after I work out. Eating ice cream. Writing. Spending an hour blogging that I should be studying. Buying new bras and dresses when I don't need new ones. Working a long shift and knowing I just pocketed a lot of money. When a work shift goes fast. Saying what's on my mind without thinking of how someone will react. Just to name a few :-)
I would have to say just laying on my bed or the couch and reading blogs. Hash browns.Crafting.My fiance.Coffee.The first nice day of summer! The first snow fall!
Meeting new people : ) It's just like buying a mystery bag. You never know what you're gonna get! (or in this case what a person's like) Sometimes it's awesome, like finding exactly what you wanted. Other times it's a nice surprise, like when you find a toy that you weren't too excited about , but then it becomes your favorite toy, or like meeting someone who unexpectantly becomes really important in your life. And a few times you get the really horrible suprises... But anyways, my point is, the fun is in not knowing! : ) And that makes me happy. <3 Jenny Emm
Kittens, coffee, reading in bed on rainy days, watching live music, drinking cocktails with my friends, Thai food, helping others, taking off in a plane for an exciting holiday x
A sunny day, a clean house, and a stack of reading material.
Waking up to find that both of my kitties are literally sleeping on me. Talk about feeling loved!
Spending time with my family; curling up with a good book, a mug of tea, and a purring cat; gloomy days; the sound of rain on my metal roof and thunder rumbling in the distance; the smell of books, old and new; shopping; cupcakes; drawing and writing; listening to my favorite music; being myself and dressing the way I want without caring what anyone has to say about it.
Puppies and love <3
Taking in my first view of a photo shoot and completing a writing project. Basically, the act of "creating." :)
I quite like that poster, actually! ;)But also, there's: my lovely boyfriend, my sweet doggie, coffee dates with my best friend, napping when it is raining, attending classes for my major (anthropology), the tv show Bones, crafting, and traveling. :)Hope your vacation is going well!
Doing Random Acts of Kindness! I was inspired by a woman who did 38 RAoK on her 38th birthday. Now my boyfriend and I are planning on bringing kites to kids at the park, giving ice cold waters and gatorade to homeless people and field workers and paying for coffee for the person behind us at Starbucks! Oh, and Chex Mix Muddy Buddies make me happy too! :-)
oh my gosh, just found your blog and it is AMAZING!!! i love looking around it, all your posts are so gorgeous! new follower :) x
Books, music, writing, my prince, christmas
My husband, my dog Otis, shoes, mint chocolate chip ice cream, arnold palmers, going to the beach!xo Petunia
I thought about this alot recently, and i realised its something to do with engaging with people. if no1 looked me in the eye, if no1 smiled and laughed with me life would be meaningless. Wheither its a good friend or someone i meet on the bus it means the world to me, and we all learn more about ourselves and new things from other people. Barnicles x
My husband; good music; family time; friend time; cuddles in winter; doodling; lolcats; comfort food & series.
My wake up routine: Coffee, run, shower, breakfast, and I'm ready to start my day :)
The kids in my class. It's the hardest job in the world but I never, ever have a day when I do not laugh until I cry. It's impossible to be unhappy when I am surrounded by those kids.Beckyxxhttp://www.beckybedbug.com
What makes me happy is waking up and feeling better than the day before, even though I know the day is going to end in tears.
My beautiful girlfriend, sister, dog, & cat. Outside of living beings? Psychology research & statistics, mathematics in general. No joke. -AnnePs- AND YOUR BLOG! :)

Perfectly put. I love that statement. So many things make me happy - in fact, I may have to do a blog post now! :)
My boyf, family, friends, blogging, fashion, decorating, photography, college life... so many things! I love the above statement, but even I know things aren't always so black and white. There are some things that can make you happy and unhappy all at the same time :/ not trying to be a debbie downer lol, just sharing my thoughts!daydream frenzy

a breezy day with lots of sunshine, endless pastures or ocean views, a good book, spending time with loved ones, my puppies :) your blog!
Gosh, I love that simple little framed quote :) trying harder to do more of what makes me happy and also trying to post more articles that promote my readers doing the same thing. Sometimes we all get caught up in the working world that we forget how much beauty there actually is in the world <3
Most things make me happy! Even crappy tasks make me happy if I have no buzzkill people around who like to whine. Basically, if everyone keeps things light and fun, most things make me happy! :)My boyfriend surprising me with visits is always a wonderful thing, though!
Thanks so much for taking the time to visit and read Little Chief Honeybee! I cherish (and read) every single comment so please don't be shy. xo
