Win an iPad Mini!

Happy 2013, friends! I've been so so so excited about bringing back monthly giveaways (from me to you!) for 2013 ever since I made the decision in June (!!!). I've been saving a percentage of each month's sponsor sales to put in the giveaway jar and I wanted to start off with something super special. I did a year of giveaways in 2011 and I really loved seeing how excited everyone got, especially when I sent off the congratulatory emails (and packages!). I decided to give it a rest in 2012, but thought 2013 would be the perfect year to go big or go home! It's important to me to use the funds generated by LCH to cycle back into the blog world. Typically sponsor funds are used to sponsor other blogs, but I haven't been doing any of that lately so it would only seem natural to find other ways to give back. I mean, spoiling one reader a month is pretty fun, right? We ended 2011 with an iPad giveaway and I was super jealous because I didn't even own one until October of this year haha Now that we have one I see just have life-changing they are. One lucky Honeybee will be the proud new owner of a 32GB white iPad (wifi) Mini! 

There will be TONS of ways to enter, so please pay attention! The only thing I require is that you be a GFC follower of Little Chief Honeybee (click "Follow" at the top of the blog or in the left sidebar). I mean, it's only fair that a reader-appreciation-gift goes to a reader, right? :)  Below are your methods of entry!

Winning an iPad mini will benefit me when I get to school 3 hours early for a parking spot, and I can read up on zines, go on facebook/tumblr, make sure all my assignments are turned in via online, and try to make time go as quickly as possible. It will also benefit me because I would lovvvve having an apple product :x ♥

    PS: I haven't gotten a chance to email you, but my mom LOVED the "home sweet home" wood piece. Once we're finished remodeling she's going to drill a hole in it and hang it up!!! :D

  3. i've always been a little unsure about ipads, until i started to realize they would be beneficial when trying to watching some videos, and that the large size wouldn't be so straining on the muscles/fingers i regularly use on my phone!
    plus it's mini, which is adorable

  5. I've always been unsure about iPads, until i started to encounter potential (minor and trivial issues) when on my iPhone, but like so many people, it's common. A bigger screen would be better on videos, not having to look so close, and not straining the same muscles i'd use on my phone as on something like this!
    plus it's mini, which is adorable! :)

  19. An ipad mini would benefit me as a new pediatric nurse. There are so many great medical apps that would be useful on the job. For example, I can look up a med or procedure I'm unfamiliar with, read up on a disease I've never heard of, and it would even make a great distraction tool. It would help me provide great care to my kiddos. Thanks for the giveaway :)

    An iPad Mini will truly benefit my sister, who has scoliosis, in terms of her studies. She's starting college on March and we figured that carrying heavy books/notebooks around will do more harm to her back. Instead of carrying those heavy items, the ipad may be the perfect solution to her problem :)

  123. an iPad would be really amazing for me- i'm an artist, and always running around showing my portfolio to people. if i had an iPad, i could use it as a portable portfolio of sorts! i spend a lot of time in my studio at school, and it would be amazing to have an iPad there with all of my research and books on it [i have all my textbooks in pdf form]. it would just be so much lighter to carry around than a laptop, in addition to all of the materials and equipment i need to lug around.

  178. I don't normally enter giveaways like this, but this would be such a cool thing for my older brother. He has Prader Willi Syndrome and for various reasons can't have complete access to technology like this. An iPad mini would be perfect for him and would really make him feel pretty great. He loves all sorts of games and reading and this would just enable him to do all of that whenever he wants. And it would give the family the control over the restrictions and give us peace of mind that he's using such cool technology in a safe way. We've been talking about getting him one for a while, but obviously they're not cheap, so this would really be amazing!

  189. I'm already a reader (aka follower via bloglovin) this is completely generous and awesome of you to take your own money and give something back to your readers. You really are a very giving person, very awesome trait.

    As for how I'd use the mini - to be honest - I'd give it to my husband. He is starting up his own business and is selling and making custom motorcycles - but he also buys and sells vintage bikes and bike parts - it would be perfect for him because he travels a lot looking for bikes. It would be awesome for him to be able to use it while he's on the road instead of just using his phone all the time.

That's such an amazing idea to put aside some money from sponsors, a really good way to reward followers for their continued support :) The iPad would be genius for me at Uni because I have an hour commute either way, and being able to spend the time constructively going through presentations would be golden!   191. An ipad mini would benefit me in my new business. Out of necessity (I've moved across the country to my home state, and no one would hire in MN from VA apparently because of the economy and moving expenses I suppose, so we just packed up and moved home and left our jobs), and my love of freedom, I've started my own graphic design (and photography when my husband has time) business centered around the first few freelance clients that I acquired within the last two years in my free time. It would be a HUGE help as my clients are in different states! I work remotely from Minnesota with clients in Virginia and Arizona. I travel a lot and cannot always be near my computer to send approved products off to print, or to easily schedule face to face web meetings.

    In addition, although I do get to actually visit my family more than once a year now that I'm back in my home state, my brother moved away when I moved home. I do not get to see him AT ALL. He has an ipad, and it would be MARVELOUS to be able to face time with him whenever or wherever. He recently got divorced after his big move and he is all alone several states away. I love him very much, and talking on the phone just isn't as fun or comforting as seeing his face.

    Because of the nature of our choice to move, my husband and I do not have much money(does anyone?), and actually live in the basement of a relatives and clean and help care for them (my grandmother of 88) to pay rent while we do odd jobs and part time positions for money. We cannot afford such a neat business tool, AND toy like this on our own.

  193. Winning an iPad mini would be soooo beneficial to me because my four year old son loves playing on our regular one, and I'm always so scared he is going to break it! This would give him one of his own! He loves to draw, play games, and do puzzles on it, but I think it's really beneficial to him because he works on lots of numbers and alphabet apps - and they really have helped him. It's a perfect teaching tool.
